Career Pathways Program

Botelho Wood Architects regularly hosts students in our office for career guidance interviews, shadow days and internship opportunities. In 2015, we participated in the Bermuda Government ‘Career Pathways’ program, during which time a high school student spent one afternoon a week in our office working on a theoretical design problem and developing practical skills that will assist in his/her pursuit of a career in architecture. As part of this initiative, this student was able to observe and participate in a wide range of activities including existing conditions survey and documentation, zoning analysis, schematic design and permit set submission and site meetings during construction.
